Hülsta is now a member of the ´COLORNETWORK´ initiated by ´TRENDFILTER´ in 2020. The idea being to create a colour match across all of their product and material combinations and that each colour is ´timeless´ reinvented sometimes after many years.
Annually a ´sustained colour´ is selected ´by an independent, high-calibre and changing panel of experts made up of interior architects, product designers and trend experts, ensuring that the colours remain ´timeless´ and therefore, can be used collectively, repeatedly. The ´Colornetwork´ aims always to be sustainable and transparent. This allows architects, designers and builders to see how a product is produced, what materials and substances it contains, whether it is recyclable, and to gain knowledge of its transportation.
Taking care of the consumer and the environment are part of the ´core brand´ at hülsta. This being evident by their partnership with the ColorNetwork. “We are happy to take part in an initiative that contributes to added value in our industry. The Colornetwork has become an important instance for making furnishing more sustainable and at the same time in line with trends,” says Anika Lechtenberg, Head of Design at hülsta. In furniture product design and planning hülsta will make more use of the current six ´sustained colours´, the new seventh ColorNetwork colour is to be introduced as part of MÖBELVISIONEN 2022 at the Furniture Future Forum in Bünde on November 10th.
¨The fact that a leading manufacturer like hülsta joins the Colornetwork shows that our interdisciplinary approach makes sense for both smaller companies and very large companies. We are very happy about this signal from Stadtlohn and the boost that joining the entire Colornetwork triggers,” says Katrin de Louw, Colornetwork initiator and Trendfilter Managing Director.
Hülsta autumn innovation
Hülsta will work with the RAL colour palette in the future. This makes it easier for interior architects and designers to plan interior concepts with hülsta products. In addition, the box spring collection has been expanded and the Multiforma wardrobe and storage collection has been revised along with other storage furniture from the Multi series.
Boxspring
Hülsta multi-Boxspring offering many components of shape and colour to design your bed. All elements can be selected individually and combined to create the perfect bed. The customized bed is created utilizing 14 headboards, more than 130 fabrics, nine base options, three different box systems, five mattress types and five different toppers to create a bespoke look and sleeping comfort in the bedroom.
Whether a quilted headboard, in a classic or an organic shape with an elegant piped seam, striking rounded shapes or a loosely wavy cover, the box spring update offers new options. The hülsta team has selected the new fabrics from high-quality materials. For example, natural tones in Chenille transform the bedroom combined with new RAL lacquer finishes.
The RAL System at Hülsta
´The RAL system is introduced at hülsta across the entire collection for the lacquered surfaces, starting with the Multiforma cupboard system and the Multi series, under which hülsta combines many pieces of ancillary furniture such as sideboards, lowboards and chests of drawers. Added to this is the expansion of the existing wooden surfaces. ´ “Natural colours and materials, warm wood, muted tones with a calm aura create a retreat with a feel-good ambience. The new, clearly defined colour scheme can be perfectly combined – with other hülsta ranges, but also with home accessories,” says Anika Lechtenberg, Head of Design at hülsta.
Multiforma
Wardrobe options with sliding doors, revolving or folding doors and amazing intermediate units offer many storage choices. Multiforma systems allow for many requirements in height and width. A bespoke measurement for a sloping roof is also possible. Multiforma offers many fronts from straight handleless lacquer to pure white in high gloss, or the ´the combination of fine wood in a trendy lamellar look´.
New designs of Multiforma offer many luxury options. Many constructions are possible with hinged and folding doors, and door heights of up to 4 metres giving many customizable options. Bespoke and customizable designs are available for a small niche solution to a large dressing room according to Multiforma´s principle of endless construction. Sliding door wardrobes available with Multiforma offer many exciting design solutions with the option of reduced heights, widths and depths. For each of these three systems there are many interior options such as well thought out fittings, lighting, illuminated clothing rails and shelves and self-closing damping systems for the convenient closing of wardrobes.
Multi is not just a series name for us, but stands for a central brand essence of hülsta: for uncompromising quality and probably the most individual series furniture that you can ever imagine. Our customers are given a system that enables them to make individual plans that fit uncompromisingly well – both in terms of function and look,” emphasizes Anika Lechtenberg."
