Is there anything nicer than snuggling up under a warm, soft blanket on long, dark winter evenings? Products made from wool and cashmere are warm and breathe at the same time. They store an enormous amount of air and create a cozy feeling of security when you are snuggled into a blanket. The effect also works the other way round: just like body heat, cold can also be stored! But this temperature barrier is permeable. A constant exchange of air is possible - nobody gets into a sweat unintentionally. This is also aided by the ability to retain moisture in vapour form and move it away from the body. This creates a healthy, dry warming effect. Basically, every fibre will wrinkle under the influence of pressure, moisture and heat. However, products made from natural fibres have a naturally high crease resistance and quickly recover from the effects mentioned above. The fibre structure of wool, more precisely its spiral crimping, ensures that the fibre always returns to its original state. Therefore, wrinkles disappear quickly by vigorously shaking out and smoothing out. This process is supported by moisture, for example an air bath overnight: ideally hang up in a slightly damp room or outside and brush through the next day if necessary - the wrinkles have disappeared.
